Scientific Purpose/Goals: Determine abundance of lobsters and lobster shelters in selected areas of the northwest region of the Gulf of Maine (Jordan Basin). Describe and record the geological and sedimentary features of the sea floor at all dive locations; collect sediment samples for grain size analysis and qualitative infaunal samples.
