Information to be Derived:

Summary of Activity and Data Gathered: Conducted surveys on Georges Bank in U.S. waters on the Northern Edge, in Closed Area 2, and in the Nantucket Lightship Closed Area. Conducted geological sampling (grain size), video and photo transects, and biological sampling using a beam trawl, naturalists dredge, and otter trawl; also collected CTD data. All data except geological samples and photo video imagery collected and maintained by NOAA Fisheries. Total stations=110. Sediment samples=46. Video/photo stations=62. Invertebrate stations=11. Beam trawls=19. Naturalists dredges=9. Otter trawls=7. CTDs=12.
