Seismic Data displayed in GeoMapApp

This Digital Seismic portal displays a variety of processed seismic data available for viewing in the GeoMapApp application.

The United States Geological Survey (USGS) offers a variety of methods for discovery and access to data holdings through the Coastal and Marine Geoscience Data System. The USGS seismic data available in GeoMapApp also have descriptions and metadata listed by specific data type in the USGS single-channel seismic field programs and the USGS multichannel seismic field programs. Additional data, available in GeoMapApp, can be found at Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) and University of Texas Institute of Geophysics (UTIG), who are partners in the Academic Seismic Portal, sponsored by the National Science Foundation.

(Available On-line)	* L-9-81-AA Lines 4, 8, 32, and 39 were provided in two parts, as two segy files each. These parts were renamed lines 4a, 4b, 8a, 8b, 32a, 32b, 39a, and 39b. The nav for each original line was split up to match the renamed parts. Before GMA processing, the trace headers of line 10 were edited to fix bad cdp�s and set delrect=0, and those of line 4b were edited to fix a bad cdp. Lines 32-29 had cdp�s mistakenly recorded in the ffid trace headers. This was also corrected prior to GMA processing. Line 31 is corrupted and therefore could not be processed. This cruise was reprocessed in two parts�east and west�as a workaround to GMA�s inability to handle datasets that cross the international dateline.
