"descript": "This data set represents vector shorelines for the New Jersey coastline (Point Pleasant, NJ to Longport, NJ) from 1839 to 2012. Data were obtained from multiple data sources, including the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), and New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP). Shorelines were obtained from the original provider and merged into a single file in order to conduct shoreline change analysis for the open-ocean and estuarine shorelines of Barnegat and Great Bay, New Jersey.",
