Data were collected in Lindsey Slough in April 2017, Middle River in March 2018, and Mokelumne River in March 2018 using an interferometric bathymetric sidescan sonar systems mounted to the USGS R/V Parke Snavely. These data were collected as part of a study on the effects of invasive aquatic vegetation on sediment transport in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta. Purpose: The swath bathymetry survey was conducted as part of a cooperative project, with the USGS California Water Science Center and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, to provide critical data about the impact of Invasive Aquatic Vegetation (IAV) on fish habitat and the health of marshes to agencies that manage and control IAV in the Delta. These data are intended for science researchers, students, policy makers, and the general public. These data can be used with geographic information systems or other software to identify bathymetric features. These data are not intended to be used for navigation.
