These data were generated from the Delft 3D, empirical dune growth (EDGR), and XBeach models to indicate how Dauphin Island evolved over a span of approximately 10 years. The model-derived topographic and bathymetric digital elevation model (DEM) was generated following the simulations of Storminess bin 2 (ST2) with sea level 1 (SL1) scenario and Storminess bin 3 (ST3) with sea level 3 (SL3) scenario, and is included in the download file, R5_Final_DEM.zip, as a Network Common Data Form (NetCDF) file. This dataset consists of Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC) metadata and NetCDF files containing the following variables: coordinates of the model grid (Easting and Northing) and the final bathymetry/topography elevation (zend_ST2_SL1_R5 and zend_ST3_SL3_R5) model grids.
