Source data were acquired during National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) survey H11252. Please acknowledge NOAA as the originator of the dataset from which this dataset was derived.
To release a color GeoTIFF image of the 2-m shaded-relief bathymetry generated from NOAA survey H11252 in eastern Long Island Sound. This hill-shaded GeoTIFF in UTM Zone 18 serves as a starting point for a geologic study of the area surrounding Six Mile Reef in eastern Long Island Sound and can be used as a base for interpretative layers. The GeoTIFF can be used in a Geographic Information System (GIS) to dramatically display the varied bathymetry and geologic features of the area.
