Dave Foster 11/21/2025 There is a bad nav file on CMGDS that GeoMapApp is linking to. How can we go about editing or replacing the file? Here's the info: USGS SCS Snake River survey "13GFP01" has one line for which the seismic navigation file contains lat/lon points at (0,0). The file in question is this one, and there are about 700 bad records beginning on row 5344: https://cmgds.marine.usgs.gov/gma/USGS_SCS/13GFP01/nav/13GFP01-13GFP01_39.nav There were zero coordinate values for the later part of the file to the end. GeoMapApp was plotting the zero values. I checked the data series and the bad nav is also in the file there: https://pubs.usgs.gov/ds/0829/html/nav.html The metadata mentions several lines that had no navigation, so there are no nav files for those lines. I just deleted the zeros. Apparently, they didn't merge Hypack data. Looks like they have nav some partial nav files, some partial SEG-Y files and images where nav was lost. They just didn't remove the zeros from the file we are looking at.
