Data Type(s): Biological Field Study: Experiments, Imagery: Photo, Location-Elevation: Navigation, Sampling: Geology, Seismics: Air Gun / Water Gun, Seismics: Ocean Bottom Seismometer, Seismics: Sub Bottom Profiler, Sonar: Sidescan, Sonar: Single Beam

Scientific Purpose/Goals: Obtain piston cores and grab samples to correlate lithology with acoustic stratigraphy determined in the 1976 Lake George cruise (FA 76042 SEABISKIT); sidescan locations for orientations of gassy sediments, faults, channels, bedrock ridges, etc. seen in acoustic records; shakedown NEECHO to test, evaluate platform and equipment, and consider modifications; collect 1.5, 3.5 and 7 kHz and sidescan data in areas surveyed by FA 76042 cruise; and test OBIP in a quiet water environment.
