End Port/Location:

Start Date: 1980-07-11

End Date: 1980-07-13

Equipment Used: Raytheon RTT 1000 Seismic System, Klein 531 sidescan, Compass

Information to be Derived:

Summary of Activity and Data Gathered: 45 km each of high-resolution, bathymetric, and sidescan data was acquired. Due to a combination of unfamiliarity with sediment types and their effect on resolution and instrumentation difficulties, the quality of high-resolution and bathymetric data ranges from poor to acceptable. The sidescan data is excellent.
