Summary of Activity and Data Gathered: After two radial searches at each of two sites in the river, we determined that the instrument was probably buried by the mega sand waves that were encountered. These were about 4-6 ft. in height and approximately 8-10 ft. crest to crest. Extremely high flow velocities had been recorded for the river during late spring/early summer.
