Start Port/Location: Port Canaveral, FL
End Port/Location: Port Canaveral, FL
Start Date: 2003-04-28

Equipment Used: Grab sampler, ROV
Information to be Derived: Grain size analysis; Habitat maps;
Summary of Activity and Data Gathered: Because of ship problems, the operation was switched from R/V LIBERTY STAR to R/V FREEDOM STAR half way through the cruise. 39 sediment grab samples were collected. Samples were collected by Leslie Sautter for Kathy Scanlon and were analyzed in Woods Hole.
