Information to be Derived: Grain size analysis;

Summary of Activity and Data Gathered: 19 sediment grab samples were collected. 4 additional sampling attempts yeided no sample. No one from USGS participated in the cruise. Amanda Maness (UNCW, grad student) oversaw collection of sediment samples and shipped them to K. Scanlon (USGS, Woods Hole) for grain size and carbonate content analysis. Other data (video by ROV, biological data) were also collected during the cruise, but are not archived at USGS.
