Scientific Purpose/Goals: The purpose of the trip is to install benchmark locations for bathymetric survey control. In addition the team will recon launch points, meet with marina and refuge personnel, and establish 3-4 new benchmarks along Marsh Island and Rockefeller Wildlife Refuge.

(1) Marsh Island Gross Point (MIGP) - Garmin handheld location 29° 32’ 10.2N 91° 57’ 48.6W; (2) Flat Lake (FLLK) - Garmin handheld location 29° 34’ 49.0N 92° 33’ 18.8W; (3) Rockefeller Breakwater (RFBW) - Garmin handheld location 29° 38’ 59.5N 92° 48’ 21.4W
