Information Specialist(s): Janet Watt

Data Type(s): Location-Elevation: Navigation, Seismics: Multichannel, Seismics: Sparker, Seismics: Sub Bottom Profiler

Scientific Purpose/Goals: Collect MCS sparker and chirp data to image the Hayward-Rodgers Creek and other east bay fault systems

Vehicle(s): MarFac; Ford 650 Box truck - White G71-03559

Start Port/Location: San Rafael, CA

End Port/Location: San Rafael, CA

Start Date: 2017-11-13

End Date: 2017-11-17

Equipment Used: Differential GPS, Other, 512 chirp, Mini sparker, 512 chirp-source

Information to be Derived: Location, geometry, connectivity, and recency of activity for fault structures

Summary of Activity and Data Gathered: We successfully depoloyed/operated the sparker MCS system in shallow water by floating the streamer. Collected MCS sparker and chirp seismic data crossing faults in San Pablo Bay and eastward across the Green Valley Fault zone
