Scientific Purpose/Goals: To collect baseline data to (1) characterize shoreline morphology, substrate, and habitat suitability for valued clams and shellfish, (2) track change with repeat surveys, and (3) generate boundary condition and validation data for numerical predictive sediment transport models to assess coastal habitat change.

Summary of Activity and Data Gathered: 2023-04-21: Collected RTK-GPS elevation profiles along cross-shore transect in triplicate at 2 study sites; collected 68 low-altitude mast-pole photographs for SfM photogrammetry along a cross-shore transect of one of the 2 study sites; collected grab samples for grainsize/carbon analyses at surface and ~20 cm depth where clams grow at 3 elevations along each study site cross-shore transect
