Summary of Activity and Data Gathered: Deployment of 9 rapid-response ocean-bottom seismographs (RROBS) to record aftershocks from the December 5, 2024 M7.0 Mendocino earthquake. All RROBS were deployed from the USCGC Barracuda, sailing to and from Eurkeka, CA on December 15, 2024. The instruments came from the USGS-WHOI RROBS facility and were supported by staff from WHOI and USGS. Data will be archived with the Earthscope Data Management Center.
