0 - 88 cm - Dark olive gray, 5Y 3/2, firm si Ug sand; scattered shell fragments and whole small shells; gradational lower contact.
88 - 134 cm - Yellowish brown, 10 YR 5/4, hard sand. Parallel laminations less than 1 cm thick throughout; dark: yellowish brown, light: very pale brown. Lower contact coincident with bottom of cut section.
134 - 287 cm -  Brownish yellow, 10 YR 6/6, firm sand; fine sand at top of unit grading down-section to coarse sand with gravel (gravel: 262-287 cm). Parallel laminations from 147-262 cm; dark: yellowish brown, light: pale brown to brownish yellow. 144 cm: 5 cm clast in fine sand; 265 cm: 2.5 cm in gravelly sand Lower contact coincident with bottom of cut section. (Note: visual difference between section 88-134 cm and section 134-287 cm may be due to differences in water content, degree of compaction, and degree of disturbance not due to mineralogic and/or lithologic changes).
287 - 424 cm -  Yellowish brown, 10 YR 5/8, hard sand. Fine (less than 1 cm), parallel laminations throughout; dark: dark yellowish brown, light: yellowish brown to pole brown.  Sharp, horizontal lower contact.
424 - 464 cm - Dark brown, 10 YR 4/3, hard fine sand. 460-464 cm: small dome-like structure composed of coarse sand, gravel, and pebbles. Some gravel and pebble clasts appear angular. Reddish brown color to matrix sand at very bottom.
