Isla Palominos, Puerto Rico, wave and water level data, 2023 RBR Virtuoso High-frequency time series data of water surface elevation (used to derive surface wave heights) were acquired for 64 days at six locations on the northern reef of Isla Palominos (Palomino Island), Puerto Rico, in support of a study on wave transformation and dissipation by outplanted corals. The sensors were placed in a cross-reef transect, starting with PRI23P1R just offshore of the reef in 5m water depth to PRI23P6R on the inner reef flat in 0.5m water depth. Kurt Rosenberger
Miami Beach, FL, wave and water level data, 2023 RBR Virtuoso High-frequency time series data of water surface elevation (used to derive surface wave heights) were acquired for 208 days at 11 locations approximately 200m offshore of Miami Beach, FL, in support of a study on wave transformation and dissipation by hybrid artificial reefs. The sensors were placed in three transects; two spanned across different designs of artificial reef structures ('SH' and 'TR' sites), and one placed across unaltered seabed to provide control data on natural seafloor ('CT' sites) Kurt Rosenberger
