Determine abundance of lobsters and lobster shelters in selected areas of the northwest region of the Gulf of Maine (Jordan Basin). Describe and record the geological and sedimentary features of the sea floor at all dive locations; collect sediment samples for grain size analysis and qualitative infaunal samples.
Location
northern Jordan Basin, Gulf of Maine, United States, Canada, North America, North Atlantic;
Summary
10 submersible dives (JSL2-1089 thru JSL2-1098) observed/documented the sea floor and lobsters, and collected required sediment samples. Sediment samples: 18.
