Diving not required. Moorings deployed: 4 (#716 and 718 both recovered FA 04016 MARCUS HANNA Feb. 5-6, 2004; #717 and 719 both recovered FA 04023 CHRISTOPHER ANDREW Apr. 7-8, 2004). Moorings recovered: 4 (#707 and 708 both deployed FA 03020 CONNECTICUT Mar. 29-31, 2003; #709 and 710 both deployed FA 03028 CHRISTOPHER ANDREW Apr. 23, 2003). Moorings exchanged successfully at sites A and B. A sufficient number of cores was collected at Station 3, but not at Station 2 because the core closure mechanism broke.
