These trips will be training and collaborating with the Grand Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve (GNDNERR) staff on how to deploy and collect net sediment tiles (NST), shoreline positions, and deploy and retrieve sensors (RBRs). Plan is to use GBNERR staff and vessel on every trip with minimal USGS staffing. This is the third study in a series that will evaluate the impact of a living shoreline on shoreline erosion and sediment transport.
