Field Activity R101WA

Identifier R101WA
Alternate names R-1-01-WA
Purpose Cruise R1-01-WA of the NOAA ship Rainier was a joint cruise of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) to investigate how the three major deltas in southern Puget Sound faired during the magnitude 6.8 Nisqually earthquake of February 28, 2001.
Description United States Geological Survey, Menlo Park, California,National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Chief Scientist: Jim Gardner. Geophysical data (multibeam, multibeam, motionsensor, CTDmeter) of field activity R-1-01-WA in Southern Puget Sound, Washington from 03/19/2001 to 03/30/2001
Location Washington
