Summary
R/V JEAN A served as base and hotel depot. R/V RACHEL CARSON was used for surveying with an additional 14-ft. outboard for shallow water surveying. The first four days were used to set gear and transponder stations in a very rough country area. The surveying time for each day was short due to bad weather in the area (rough seas and strong winds). Estimated total length of seismic lines: 20 nm.
