Conduct in situ measurements of chemical and biological processes in water sediment interface including particle mixing, pore water irrigation, metabolic rate. Collect sediment samples to study benthic infauna, microbiology, heavy metals, organic geochemistry for distribution of chemical enrichment from sewage sludge at dump site.
