Purpose To collect geophysical and chemical measurements that quantify lateral and temporal energy, fluid, and gas fluxes at gas hydrate sites in Gulf of Mexico lease blocks Green Canyon 185 and Garden Banks 425. USGS participation is to help operate the Georgia Tech EdgeTech SB512 deep-tow chirp profiling system and to produce trackline maps and some data management at sea.
