Summary
On June 16, deployed two benthic chambers in Hingham Bay (Station 8) and collected 6 diver-collected push cores. Water depth was 24 feet. The cores were 4.5-inch ID. Extrusion pistons were inserted upon removal from the bottom. Core 8-6 had pre-installed fins for erosion experiment. Cores 8-3 through 8-6 were x-rayed at Falmouth Hospital. On June 23, the benthic chambers were recovered. Area of operation: 42.2914N to 42.2916N; -70.93W to -70.932W.
