Location Hedge Fence Shoal, Vineyard Sound, Massachusetts, United States, North America, North Atlantic;
Summary Dove at slack tide on the wreck of the Port Hunter in Vineyard Sound. Both ends of the wreck are buoyed with red/white lobster floats (SW to NE orientation). Large sand waves (severals meters in height) are evident adjacent to the wreck - some video was shot of the wreck by Mr. Blackwood. Current changes quickly in this area - be prepared!
Comments All dive team members used dry suits and Blackwood and Rendigs used Enriched Air Nitrox (EAN 36%). Original Center People field contained: Cptn. Barry Irwin; Dann Blackwood - diver; Mike Casso - diver; Rick Rendigs - diver.
