Purpose Retrieve semi permeable membrane devices

Summary Semi-Permeable Membrane Devices (SPMDs) were deployed and recovered to measure contaminants. Water samples were taken via a Niskin and pumped using a peristaltic pump and filtered for carbonate chemistry and nutrient concentrations.
Info derived contaminants collected over a 30 day period on reefs
Comments We are using a vessel provided by the Dept. of Aquatic Resources of Hawaii. Equipment used will be SCUBA to retrieve the semi permeable membrane devices. Entries for this field activity are based on entries from Field Activity 014-648-FA
