Purpose To collect aerial imagery of the Plum Island marsh system to augment a sediment budget study.
Location Parker River National Wildlife Refuge
Summary This field event took place on 11/14/2017 at Plum Island in Newbury, MA. 3DR solos UASs were flown with the Ricoh GRII collecting RGB true color jpegs. Ground control points were collected using spectra precision SP-80 RTK collectors.
Info derived We'll be collecting aerial photographs and ground control points to create photoscan projects.
Comments A Ricoh GR II camera was mounted on a 3DR Solo Quadcopter UAS. A MicaSense RedEdge multispectral camera was mounted on a 3DR Solo Quadcopter UAS.
