Purpose Quantify sediment volume change in the a tidal estuary using UAS photogrammetric techniques.
Location Parker River National Wildlife Refuge
Summary This project took place at the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge in Newbury Ma, on March 28th 2019. We collected UAS images with a 3DR solo from The MicaSense RedEdge camera, and the Ricoh GRII. Aeropoints targets and traditional vinyl targets were placed as ground control points and were georeferenced using spectra precision SP-80 RTK rovers. The validation for the benchmarks values used a point at the Parker River Boat launch for localization. The knob was used to deploy targets.
