Purpose To collect data for assessing the accuracy of total water level and coastal change forecasts.
Location Gulf of Mexico offshore of Madeira Beach, St Petersburg, Florida
Summary This field activity correspond to service and monitor of real time Sofar wave buoy located at 70 ft offshore from Madeira beach. In addition of the retrieval and re-deployment of an acoustic doppler current profiler (Signature 1000 and Sentinel V) located 5 m water depth off Madeira beach.
