Field Activity 2022-308-FA

Identifier 2022-308-FA
Alternate names 22PWE01, 22PWE02
Purpose To collect carbonate dissolution, sedimentation, and radon measurements in the water column, at the sediment-surface interface, and from porewater samples to assess water exchange rates and acidification conditions for quantifying rates of chemical erosion to accurately measure, model, and scale rates of seafloor chemical erosion due to coastal acidification.
Location Tampa Bay
Info derived Mid-water-column and seafloor carbonate dissolution measurements, porewater and water column radon measurements.
Comments March 2022 trip expected to require 2 field days - Tuesday March 15 and Thursday March 17.
