Kathryn and NERR staff (using NERR vessel) collected net sedimentation tiles and marsh sensors. Joseph, BJ, and Kyle used R/V Sallenger to go offshore to dive for ADCP sensor. Joseph was topside while BJ and Kyle were diving.

Kathryn are collecting sediment plates, shoreline positions, and water level data with Grand Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve staff using a NERR vessel. Sediment plates were deployed in Oct 2019 and will be collected on this trip. All marsh and estuarine sensors will be collected.

This boat has a carrying capacity of up to 1500 pounds and up to 7 people and a shallow draft (9 inches empty). This boat's cat hull design results in a smoother ride in choppy water, at the expense of a slightly deeper draft. This boat is powered by two Yamaha 70hp motors.
