Description 1. Provide hands-on training of marine water quality methods using multi-parameter water quality sondes.2. Familiarize tribal students/staff with USGS-Tribal water quality science activities3. Bridge science and culture with example of science that links environmental science with essential food resources for Coast Salish (marine resources, shellfish, salmon)4. Provide training to students to gain skills and knowledge for employment in USGS and tribal natural resource departments.
