U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) staff created geographic information system (GIS) footprints to show the extent of light detection and ranging (lidar) datasets published by the USGS St. Petersburg Coastal and Marine Science Center (USGS SPCMSC), since 2001. In 2010, a video camera was installed near the northern boundary of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration-Kennedy Space Center (NASA-KSC) property along the Atlantic coast of Florida.
