Abstract:
Chirp sub-bottom data were collected by the U.S. Geological Survey in August of 2019 in Lake Crescent, Washington.
Purpose:
Chirp sub-botttom data were acquired during USGS field activity 2019-622-FA in August of 2019. The survey was conducted in Lake Crescent, Washington. Geophysical mapping was conducted to investigate earthquake triggered mass transport deposits as part of the Cascaadia Earthquake recurrence project. These data and information are intended for science researchers, students, policy makers, and the general public.

Native_Data_Set_Environment:
For the chirp data acquisition, an Edgetech 512i chirp towfish was towed several meters below the sea surface from the stern of the vessel. Shearwater Reveal 4 (seismic processing software) was used to convert the SEG-Y navigation to UTM zone 10N.
