RECOGNITION: This example is so similar to the preceding example (superimposed bedforms migrating obliquely downslope) that the differences probably could not be interpreted in natural exposures.
ORIGIN: This structure has essentially the same origin as the examples in Figure 46, except that in this example the superimposed bedforms are three-dimensional.
