Summary of Activity and Data Gathered: Two colonies of the deep-sea coral Lophelia pertusa were sampled from the Ewing wreck and two colonies from the Gulf Penn wreck. Coral tissue was preserved in RNAlater(r) for microbial DNA extraction in St. Petersburg.
