Affiliate Investigator(s): Henry Freedenberg

Information Specialist(s): Dana Wiese

Data Type(s): Location-Elevation: Navigation, Seismics: Boomer

Scientific Purpose/Goals: Subsurface Characterization

Vehicle(s):

Start Port/Location: Stuart, Florida

End Port/Location: Sebastian Inlet, Florida

Start Date: 1999-07-19

End Date: 1999-07-26

Equipment Used: GPS , Huntec ESU-PSU, ITI ST-5 streamer

Information to be Derived: Shallow geologic framework - subbottom image profiles.

Summary of Activity and Data Gathered: A total of 28 boomer 2-D lines were collected. Additionally, 9 chirp lines were collected during 99FGS01 but due to poor quality, these lines are not being archived.

Notes: Digital 99FGS01 logs were generated by
A. Forde in June 2012 using the handwritten logs and personal accounts of the
crew members.
Boomer System (Applied Acoustic CSP 300 power supply, Huntec pla
te, and Innovative Transducer Inc. (ITI) ST-5 10-channel hydrophones), Triton El
ics International (TEI) Delph Seismic acquisition software version 1.36, and Tri
mble Centurion GPS (running Fugawi software) navigation system with trim_rmc.pln
navigation driver.
