Comments:
This DVD contains seismic reflection profile data that was transcribed from nine-track tape by OTS, Inc. Houston, TX. The transcribed files were written to DLT tape in SEG-Y format. Since the capacity of a DLT is approximately 20 gB, the data files were split into groups totalling less than 4.7 gB in order to fit the DVD-R media. Therefore, each DLT cartridge will result in 1 to 6 DVD's.
The files were written sequentially to the DVD cartridges, and the file numbers were retained as the file names. Use the following table to determine which file corresponds to a particular line number.
For example, file 5.sgy is Line 2 of Cruise 05.
