Ferromanganese nodules and other ferromanganese coated rocks were collected using a box core from the Samoa Basin, during USGS field activity 2026-604-FA. These mineral samples were described and subsampled for geochemical analysis at the USGS Pacific Coastal and Marine Science Center.
