Description Ferromanganese nodules and other ferromanganese coated rocks were collected using a box core from the Samoa Basin, during USGS field activity 2026-604-FA. Ferromanganese nodules and ferromanganese coated rocks were collected by box core and total mass was determined using a digital crane scale calibrated with National Institute of Standards and Technology certified calibration weights.
