Larger View	Perspective view of the Northeastern Channel Islands multibeam bathymetry looking northwest towards Santa Cruz and Anacapa Islands (arrow 1 on location map). This area is commonly known as the Footprint area. The ridge in the center, trends northwest-southeast for a distance of 13 km in this image and drops approximately 450 m at A-A' . Larger View	Perspective view of the Northeastern Channel Islands multibeam bathymetry looking north towards Anacapa Island (arrow 2 on location map). The gullied slope south of Anacapa Island (A-A') drops approximately 520 m. Channels trending down slope (B) with widths from 100 - 200 m, incise into the slope between 2 - 6 m and terminate abruptly at the northern end of the Santa Monica Basin. The canyon thalweg increases in water depth from 465 m to 646 m in this image, while the width of the canyon at the bottom of the image at A-A' is about 800 m. The canyon thalweg drops in water depth from 607 m to 767 m in this image. The northern canyon wall at A-A' is approximately 150m high, while the southern wall at B-B' is approximately 90 m high.The distance across the bottom of the image is approximately 5 km. Larger View	Perspective view of the Northeastern Channel Islands multibeam bathymetry looking east towards Ventura and Port Hueneme (arrow 5 on location map). On the shelf in approximately 100 m water depth, linear features trend parallel to the shelf break. On the slope, below 150 m water depth, more deeply incised linear feature also trend parallel to the shelf break. While these features vary in height and wave length, the bathymetric profile (below) down the slope at A-A' shows that the features directly inshore of Platform Gail are about 3-5 m in height and have wavelengths of about 200m. The linear features abruptly transition to a gullied slope toward the southeast. The distance across the bottom of the image is approximately 4 km. The vertical exaggeration is 2X. Larger View	Perspective view of the Northeastern Channel Islands multibeam bathymetry looking north towards Ventura and Port Hueneme at the eastern end of the Santa Barbara Channel (arrow 6 on location map). In the center of the channel in about 230 m water depth are a field of bedform-like features. The larger features at A-A' have wavelengths on the order of 50 - 125 m with heights of about 3 - 12 m (see profile A-A' below). The smaller features at B-B' have lower relief (1 - 4 m), but have longer wavelengths of 200 m (see profile B-B' below). The distance across the bottom of the image is approximately 12 km.
