Surface Wave Testing for Post-Earthquake Geotechnical Reconnaissance

Surface Wave Testing equipment.

We use continuous harmonic-wave spectral analysis of surface waves (SASW) testing to characterize the stiffness of the soil column at liquefaction evaluation sites and Alyeska Pipeline Service company facilities. A hand auger was used to sample the soil for texture.
